History of Ostendorf Company Germany:

In the year 1948 directly after the currency reform – Franz Ostendorf started together with his family and 3 employees the mining of peat. They carried and the peat with hope and tractors to the houses in and around Vechta. The people needed the peat for the heating of the houses. Also the family Ostendorf cultivated a farm with 20 ha.

In the following years the brothers Heinrich and Norbert Ostendorf took over the business and extended the family business to an industrial operating plant.

In 1973 both brothers decided to invest in new industrial areas. At this time plastics have been a very strong expending technology. As a result Gebr. Ostendorf Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG has been founded.

Due to permanent increase accompanied by investments and innovations Gebr. Ostendorf Kunststoffe fastly became a trademark.
Different plats and joint ventures in and around Germany have been founded in the following years.

Depending from the demand for plastics seals the company M.O.L. has been founded together with different partners. Today M.O.L. produces seals and also rubber profiles.
New markets have been developed with PROPAC/OSTENDORF PLASTIC.

With the target to put together the unneeded financial values of the companies in the Ostendorf Group, in the year 1995 the financial GBR Ostendorf has been founded . Here all companies of the group can raise a loan for good conditions. Since the founding of this company all investments which needed outside financing have been carried out by the Financial GbR Ostendorf.

Today the Ostendorf Group has more than 650 employers in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic and Turkey. Also more then 120 people work at their homes for the companies. In the different markets the group produces approximately 50.000 to plastics, 5000 to rubber and 500.000 cbm peat per year.
